I have a thing for ethnic textiles and John Robshaw bedding really does it for me.
I am redoing my son's bedroom soon with navy walls and new bedding. I really want something a bit exotic in terms of a quilt, duvet cover or throw. Robshaw bedding is a bit over budget but there surely must be a "look for less". I am toying with hand printing my own.
I love to hear your "look for less" ideas.

if you do hand print a whole sheet, I would be blown away! World Market is my go-to look-for-less store. :-)
Oh, you just reminded me I need to re-do my son's room. I don't go in there often ... kind of on purpose! Maybe a fall project is beginning! xo
Kerry - MyHabit is having a major block print bedding sale today - some of the stuff may work? Check it out :)
Robshaw bedding is on my dream list too. I'm thinking I need to wait until I can get the dog to stay off my bed before I invest though. You've got the skills to try and DIY that - I wonder how well it would wash.
I love this look! No thoughts on where to get it for less, but I'll be back to see what your readers suggest : )
Why not Spoonflower on your sheets?
I just found your blog and your artwork through another blog which lead me from another blog and on and on:) Its inspiring to see other artists work- thank you!
West Elm has been offering some indigo & grey block print bedding
