Today Linda, of Calling it Home is saving my proverbial blog butt. After a weekend of non-stop commission work and today in the gallery, I am fresh out of steam for blogging. Here are her ideas to make my painting life easier and more gorgeous.
Hello, Design Du Monde-ites! I'm Linda from the blog Calling it Home. Along with all of you, I have been watching Kerry go from her kitchen, to her basement, and now the office space of her home with her art studio plans. Not being an artist but a lover of her art, I think she should paint where she darn well feels like it! My opinion in her home will go as far as my husband's opinion inmy our home.
Here are some inspirational pictures for your new studio.

What I wouldn't give for an entire vaulted ceiling studio filled with light and surfaces that I could get paint all over! But I'd want it clean as well as pretty! Great ideas!

Lucky Lady! See you don't need an intern ... you just need Linda designing, you painting ... and get someone to clean. The perfect Tri-fecta!! Happy Monday! xo
hahaha, such a good Monday post. Linda in charge and Kerry's art. What's not to love!
Every woman should have a "room of her own." It's been fun watching Kerry's work being found, loved and shared.
I think the only thing missing in your studio plans is a drain and a garden hose. In fact, I wish I could have that system in my kitchen!
Love the sassy interns.
Teehee, so good. I think you two would make a great pair!
I will begin my young student art lessons September 9..these are some really inspirational photos for me as I ready my loft space for those little kiddos!
Love Linda's spaces and love the adorable "interns" she found for your!
Hahaha! I wish I could 'trade' something with Kerry too Linda! Your inspiratino rooms are all beautiful and artistic for sure!
Wherever Kerry paints it's working, her gorgeous creations are endless!
I love these studios! What a dream job!
Thanks for letting me hang out on your blog, Kerry. You need to think about intern :).
