Vintage suitcases

I saw these vintage suitcases, front and center, on Etsy yesterday and got to thinking what I might do with such lovely crustiness.

Most of the things I saw were more shabby than chic but I rather fancy that little suitcase/picnic table.
What would you do with a vintage suitcase or two?

Happy Independence Day!

I would like to have one, but not sure I'd put it in my LR, maybe a guest room side table. I think they're cool.
Happy 4th!

I am seeing more and more of these at flea markets ... but with hefty price tags due to the popularity! Just saw a gorgeous Louis Vuitton train case for $4500!! I left it there! Too stunned to even snap a photo! Happy Fourth of July to you!!

How do people come up with these things? My imagination just isn't up to the task. Happy 4th, Kerry!

I especially love the vintage English and French vellum cases. I collect and sell those. My favorites are the ones with the chrome hardware and monograms.
