TV for artists

I am not quite sure how I feel about this way to hold a TV but it is clever.

I would imagine that it is slightly difficult to disguise the tangle of cords in this situation. Barring that problem, I would love to be able to roll the whole thing right out of sight when necessary.

Tell me. What do you think?
 Oh and Happy Valentines day!

Happy Valentine's to you!! I love the way this looks ... but really don't know where the plugs and cable wires are? Maybe they've got that under control ... ???

There was a tv like this on the Nate Berkus show. They had to anchor it into the floor because it was so top heavy. This would make me rally nervous. I do like the look of it.

Clever. I believe RH has a piece that looks like an easel for a TV. The wires etc, are all worked out. RH figures out all that stuff quite well and for quite a price!

I did that with TV when I found an old paint splattered artist's easel at an antique store a few years ago. I had it adapted for the electronics below. I had a plug installed behind the monitor so the cords wouldn't dangle.

Love the look, but agree with you on the cords, would be very tricky taping them all on the back to hide them, with all the gadgets attached to TV's nowadays, you would also need space for those. ;-)

It's too clever for me. Too many potential problems!

What a great idea...but what would you do with all the cords?

I have no problems with TV cords at all, I don't have a TV! However, I have contradictory feelings about a TV on an easel. Although it looks clever, it seems to give an excessive important role to the object as well as an artistic value. But, again, I am very biased here.
