Styling with feminine art

Hope you all had a lovely holiday. Ours was great.
Over a visit with family, someone asked me how I would incorporate a very feminine painting of mine into a room that was not a super sweet little girl's room.
To answer, I made this design board.

"Tea with Mabel" available on Serena and Lily.com

While decidedly a feminine room, I think with a few rich wood pieces it could lean more gender neutral.

I love it! Of course I have a pink nude in my living room. If you love it, it works! Art is not a décor item and most people do not get this! You wouldn't buy a book because the cover is green and matches your sofa...it's the content. :)

Oh lovely! I just love pink especially when there is just a note or two and it can be the star! So pretty.

P.S. The only other thing I meant to write about Charleston is that it is a college town. There are several schools and it's full of students downtown - very vibrant! And the food scene is great. And you must join the historical society. And there seem to be a lot of rich southern belles, young and old, everywhere you look. A town with history and money, but also young and up-and-coming, so an interesting blend!

So pretty. I agree if you add more wood it'd add some gender neutrality. But I would LOVE the room just like this!
