Yesterday I posted a chair and asked for your opinions. I got some great responses and to be honest I am a little overwhelmed with other tasks at the moment.
So, today I am posting an entire room that I think will generate some strong opinions.
Could you live with this room?
Visit it?
Suggest it to a client?
Or did Pucci just get done watching The Wizard of Oz?

Kerry,
I'm afraid I couldn't live with this room. I do like the checked chair but it's much to bright for my taste. I might be able to visit if I didn't have to stay in this room for very long. I definitely would not suggest it to a client unless of course the client had specified something outrageously colorful! LOL
This looks like Diamond Baratta. I can either like their work or find it over the top. This is way too much for me!
Hi Kerry! This sure is a fun room, but I can't see most people going this crazy. Even if they just painted the walls a more neutral color it might for more people. I might even go for it if my husband wasn't so conservative!

I'm OUT!
The room gives me a headache. The contrast of the walls and the molding is too great.
The rug ought to be the focal point but it's muted by the intense yellow-green sofa, chair and walls. Tone these down.
If I decorated a room like this, I'd need a divorce lawyer.

You know I love color but I don't like this space. It's all a little too "decorated" - I like it to look less planned. Does that make sense?

I could see it with the sofa a neutral to tone down the intensity, maybe thrown in some lush brown velvet. Clear glass lamps...
