A little family room fantasy

I saw this little settee from Hickory chair on Craigslist and the wheels started turning.

I was thinking it could replace this vintage Naugahide chair in my family room.

My thought was that this little French canape could be funked up with the right fabric, non?

This Robert Allen Annex was a thought.

Duralee's Flynn seems like a better choice.

But then I always want to use one of my own fabrics.

I have yet to find an upholsterer that does sofas for less than $1000 but I hear they exist.
If any of you DC or Richmond folks know of one please tell.
That being said, this is not a financial priority.
What I really want to do is this...

If I did my rather conventional family would have me committed.

I have the best upholsterer - he just picked up my 3rd sofa today and is doing the whole thing w/my fabric, including making 3 new box back cushions, for $950. Call him, he's the best!!! Be sure to tell him you know me. Here' the link to the last sofa he did for me

Really, Mel of Style-Rite upholstery is the best! Michele

Yes, I think you must do a Kerry Steele original fabric!

Oh I remember that sofa. A renowned designer (can't remember who) asked her daughter's guests attending her daughter's birthday party to draw whatever they wanted on the blank canvass sofa she had ready for them!! Can you imagine! What fun! You would still have to find the upholsterer.....I'm no help.
