C'mon summer!

Geez! I thought I'd be sipping a margarita and forgetting to make dinner by now but, NO!

Its so close I can taste it, I think.
Our sons were in a car accident in Pennsylvania the other day and they are OK but my son's injuries involve the joy of "lawyering up". Just when I thought it would get easy.
Thursday was the last day of school for everyone but the seniors and I did manage some quality painting time.

I am darn lucky to have a hiatus from the rudeness of the alarm clock for a few months every year and after this many years of it I get a little cranky towards the end.

I am totally ready to start picking tomatoes, catch fireflies and stay up too late.

An after-dark dinner al fresco seems overdue too.

What summer activities or non-activities are looking forward to?

So sorry about the accident! ! Hope everything works out ok. I am looking forward to hanging out by our pool with friends . Our pump broke and waiting on repairs so it will be a while still til this happens. I've got to swim in the ocean , walk the beach strip and shops and wear a bathing suit fom dawn to dusk. That's my idea of a great summer.

I am so glad that your son is alright. I am dreading the day my kids start to drive. It is looking like it might be a wet summer, here. I am looking forward to finally cleaning out my garage.

Boys. Man, do they take a long time to grow up! Hang in there. We were served papers for a lawsuit (traffic/kid at 18) on the very last day allowed by the statue of limitations. It all worked out, but it gets your attention when they realize you carry a large umbrella policy and add more 000s to pain and suffering (my buttkus!).

Be nice to your self...and toss that clock in the back of the closet.

Glad your boys are OK...sorry about what is ahead....
Try and relax! It's easy to say, isn't it?
No summer plans...just wait for all my Epiphanies to appear!

Oh, wow. Glad your son is okay. Dealing with that sounds very unappealing -so sorry! I'm enjoying not having to nag about homework etc. Also I'm loving hanging out with my daughter. We love to stay up late watching movies and sleeping in!

Oh God - so sorry about the accident and the need for a lawyer. That is totally crappy but thank heaven he's okay. I got a lawyer after some issues with my company refusing my medical leave request. I decided not to sue (I'd likely end up unemployed) but they're breaking the law. It's cost me about $1500 in lawyer's costs just to learn my rights and all the nuance of the law in this area. UGH!

You deserve a break hon. I know all about getting to that point where you don't think you can handle any more and just need a REST!!!!

Sadly life is never easy for long. Thinking of you.
