Fun with fabric

Escher pagoda in Citrine and CW Peale silhouette

I feel slightly remiss in not continuing the Spoonflower madness from earlier this year. I ordered a fat quarter of the "Escher Pagoda" in blue and was disappointed in the disparity in color from my computer to the fabric.
Original Escher pagoda as I designed it
The blue was decidedly dull and there was too much gray in this sample
I played with changing the colors but was quickly discouraged by the amount of time it took and put the whole thing on the back burner.
When my daughter decided to redo her room in yellow and gray (read about it HERE) I looked around for some fabric for pillows and thought the same obvious thing that always leads me to the same place, "I wish I could get something original that is exactly what I want." ..... "Oh right Spoonflower duh!"

I ordered a piece of my CW Peale silhouette for a pillow.

Above is the fabric with the Charles Willson Peale silhouette in my dining room. It was cut by the famous American artist, not of him but an anonymous young boy. I have have no documentation to support this so don't come to steal it, no one will believe you.

As soon as I opened the package, My daughter's eyebrows went up and she said, "I like that fabric!" She was referring to the Escher pagoda in Citrine
The colors are dead on citrine, grays and a hint of medium brown in fine outlines.
I also plan on ordering Escher pagoda in Trendy Tangerine.

Escher Pagoda in Trendy Tangerine
The main colors are tangerine, hot pink and a deep yellow. there is also a bit of light pink and light yellow. I want to fast forward to having the pillows!
They are also available in wallpaper.
I can't stand not having a room done in this silhouette wallpaper. I must have it!

and this!
I designed other pagoda fabrics and companion fabrics but not all are for sale yet. To offer fabrics for sale you must first order proofs. I have designed a few for a collection that I am calling Petal Pusher, based on my pencil sketches, here is a sampling.

Bouquet in two colorways more are offered
I plan on ordering swatches of this entire collection to proof the colors and offer them for sale.

Lucky Me in pink
Leaf in blue
I am doing this entire collection from pencil sketches because I like the texture.

You can peruse my designs that are available HERE. I have ordered several different types of fabric so far and would have to recommend the linen cotton blend for pillows it seems a bit more sturdy than Kona cotton or Cotton poplin.
Have you Spoonflowered?

I just ordered some last night. I picked a green print, and I hope it is good. I love your prints. It would be really helpful if you could swatch your prints with a Benjamin Moore paint chip. That way, I could look up the color and see if it would work for me. Love where you are going with this.

On your blog, the silhouette heads
look in one direction but, on the
Spoonflower page, two face each
other like a Rorsarch. I like the design
that faces one direction.

The citrine and grey fabric your daughter
picked out looks elegant.
