Waffling

Every so often something catches my eye on Pinterest, I pin it, and feel compelled to take a trip down pin memory lane to see what else made it onto a particular board.

My board for bedroom ideas for my youngest seems to underscore my original vision and tells me that I am on the right track as no waffling has occurred.

We have matching antique twin beds that, alas, cannot be on the same wall.

The walls  and ceiling are a soft, barely there, pink. The bedding is a similar pink with white matelasse coverlets.

The majority of beds pinned on this board have a coronet, something I have not given up on.

a bit much
Just about everything in this room is done except for those pesky coronets and curtains. Therein lies my waffling. I have decided once and for all on her curtains countless times. I was leaning towards more pink but her favorite color is green and unlike my other children she has never waffled.
I thought the white linen from Ikea, trimmed with lime green pom-pom fringe was the answer but I used them in my son's room (sans fringe) instead.

I have been considering these floral curtains from Ikea for the window and coronets. I like the '80s chintz/English country house look...at least for today.

Do you waffle on decorating, doing nothing for months or years?

P.S. its my 4 year blogiversary

Happy Blogiversary!! And yes, waffling is inherent! I can make decisions for others all day long. Myself, not so easy!! So ... go for the chintz and coronet! xo

Happy Blogiversary! And yes, I always waffle, typically, in the end I go with my initial choice. The waffling occurs because there are so many options, a blessing and a curse!

I just took your house tour, and bonded with you immediately when said things were constantly changing! I can so relate. It's like a new home, without the hassle of moving. I waffle, then go full steam ahead. Trust your instinct, and celebrate your style. So exciting....

4 years! Wow! Congrats! I find it much easier to waffle than to make a decision. I hate making decorating decisions. They seem so final... even though they're really not, right?

Kerry, I am so in your corner on the 80's English country. Tis true! I spent the weekend on ebay and etsy searching chintz. What?

Happy New Year Kerry!!

Happy Blogiversary!! I really do not waffle on decorating. I really don't do a lot of changes to my decor. I love what I have and see no need to change and at my age sure don't need to add any thing else to go into an estate sale. Love all your ideas even though I'm not a floral/chintz person at all. No flowers unless they're fresh in my house or closet!!!

Happy Blogiversary! I love the paintings you have on the Pink Pagoda, today. Are you kidding, I waffled so much, now we are going to sell our home and I never made certain decisions. My advice, pick something and just do it. Good luck.

I think my four-year anniversary is this month too! Where did it go?

I don't think you're waffling at all. You like more than one style and you want it all. What's wrong with that? A lot of us are in the same boat.
