Were you ever just browsing and fell in love with something that you can't use?
This Kilim is a perfect example. I love everything about it including the price tag but the 11.5 x 4 foot dimensions make it a no-go in my house.
I just can't stop wanting it and concocting preposterous and impractical spots for it in my house.
What's a girl to do?

Daily. This happens to me Daily. I then worry that I might have hoarder tendencies!! They are fun! xo
ReplyDeleteI do it all the time. The basement with filled with them.
ReplyDeleteIt happens to all of us Kerry! But like most designers say, if you love something VERY much, buy it and you'll find a spot for it sooner or later. This one can be even hung on a wall! Your studio perhaps?! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteFrustrating, I know. But if it won't work in your space, then it wasn't yours. Keep hunting, they always appear when you least expect it.
ReplyDeletewelcome to our obsession with rugs...we do this almost daily. These are spectacular.

If the price is good...go for it! Someday, somewhere it will find a home!
ReplyDeleteOH I LOVE the last one! Those colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAll the time! And sometimes I succumb to the temptation and then have buyers remorse. Best to let it go. There's always something fabulous to find!
ReplyDeleteYes, me too!! Good thing I have a shop because our house is full!!! You will see. x Loi
