clever or tacky?


My busy schedule plus an a mild but annoying head cold have kept inspiration at bay as of late.
This is another one of those posts where I ask your opinion of an unusual item.
So, what do you think of the shelf...clever or tacky?

    I think it has great humor. Kinda like it....for the right space and home. Very creative.

    Well, I think it straddles the line between clever and tacky. I would probably pass it up. It's clever, but just not for me.

    sort of gimmicky -but I like it. I think I'd get tired of it quickly though if it were mine.

    Someone did almost this exact thing on Design Star a week or two ago.

    I kind of like how graphic it is.

    I'm not real big on this, it's a little out there for me. Plus, I think I would tire of it rather quickly. :)

    What bothers me about this is it's in an empty room. I'd like to see it integrated into a room before I give it a thumbs up or down.

    The idea is cute but what does it stand next to?
